Kim Waters in Person at The Sacred
Space
Please join us on Valentine's Day, Thursday February 14, 2008 at 5 pm for a Reception benefiting Sarah House, hospice for the dying poor.
The Sacred Space is honored to represent Kim Waters and her transcendent artwork. She is the lead singer & voice of RASA the renowned spiritual musical group. Her music is usually playing over our system.
As with her music she brings the details of her inspired feelings to life in her art. This is a very special opportunity to meet Kim Waters, see her art, and acquire a truly treasured work.
Kim Waters' distinctive art draws freely from Indian spiritual imagery, medieval and renaissance illumination, folklore and Victorian book design. her unique combination of alchemical symbols, archetypes, angels, and mythology introduces the viewer to a rich and intriguing fantasy world while expressing her vision of Spirit. Kim has illustrated numerous books and commissions, such as "illuminations from The Bhagavad Gita", and most recently, the Major Arcana of the Tarot.
This is a really lovely venue and fun event with wine and delicious appetizers catered from Indian restaurants.
